The Kea agency's advice

• Call the agency 24 hours before you travel to confirm departure times: the companies can change sailings without notice.
• Kea is busy on summer weekends: book a vehicle early, by phone or online.
• When booking online, use Latin characters only at every step; Greek characters make the booking fail.
• Bad weather cancels sailings. For example, the agency announced that all ferries to and from Kea were cancelled on Wednesday 14 October 2026, and some on the 15th.

Electric, hybrid and gas cars

The agency passes on the Ministry of Maritime Affairs guidance for alternative-fuel vehicles boarding a ferry: battery charge no higher than 40% for fully electric and plug-in hybrid cars, and tanks no more than 50% full for LPG or natural-gas vehicles.
